About Us

Hershey’s Mill Golf Club was founded on December 7, 1979. The first 9-holes inaugurated in June 1980, adding a 16,000 sq-ft clubhouse by December and 18-holes in-play by that spring.

A 1982 ownership change brought Bob Wooldridge to Hershey’s Mill to manage the club’s operation along with the development of the Hershey’s Mill community.  In 1986, Wooldridge acquired the club and development operation, breaking ground in 1990 on complete renovation, and the sparkling new clubhouse was opened with a Gala Celebration in June, 1991.

Over the years, the supervision of certified golf course superintendent Jerred Golden has brought dramatic golf course improvements, including adding hundreds of yards of cartpath and full reconstruction of holes 16, 8, 2, 3 & 5 for better golfing.
